North American sign formats
Start from the sign
These routes describe the purchasing context. Final pitch and module selection depend on sign dimensions, content, distance, sunlight, access and local requirements.
Roadside entrance
Digital Monument Sign
Low-profile sign structures for schools, churches, retail entrances and commercial properties.
On-premise messaging
EMC / Message Center
Text, logo and promotional content where message legibility and service access drive selection.
Longer viewing distance
Pylon & Pole Sign
Elevated sign structures where pixel pitch, brightness and safe maintenance need joint review.
Restricted rear access
Wall-Mounted Sign
Facade and shallow-cabinet applications where the approved service method matters early.
Module comparison
Compare verified module configurations.
Review pitch, LED type, resolution, drive mode, refresh rate and listed brightness. Final model selection and cabinet fit are confirmed against your project inputs and approved drawing.

Prepare your request
Send the details needed for an accurate module match.
These eight inputs help us review pitch, module grid and service access before preparing the project recommendation.
Send these 8 project inputs
Cabinet inside opening and overall dimensions
Single- or double-face sign
Target module grid or total display size
Closest and typical viewing distance
Primary content: text, logos, images or video
Front and rear service clearance
Power, controller and connection preference
Quantity, spare-module plan and required date
What the review should return
Model shortlist Pitch, LED type, scan, refresh and brightness compared against the request.
Grid review Module count, total resolution and cabinet-code discussion for engineering review.
Wiring/control notes Recommended topology and component list, subject to final project approval.
Order documentation Approved specification, drawing and relevant model-level evidence package.
Compliance boundary: the LED module is one component of the completed sign. Final cabinet, power, wiring, weather protection, structural design, listing, permitting and installation remain subject to the complete assembly and local authority requirements.
Sign-company FAQ
Questions sign companies ask before ordering.
Use these answers to prepare the dimensions, viewing conditions and service information needed for the next review.
Do you supply modules for sign companies that build their own cabinets?
Yes. Share the cabinet dimensions, intended module grid, viewing conditions and service access. Chipshow can review the module match while your sign company retains cabinet fabrication, installation and local permitting.
Which outdoor LED module specifications are listed?
The supplied parameter table lists 320×320 mm configurations in P6.67, P10 and P16 with ICE, SMD2727, SMD3535 and DIP347 options. It includes resolution, drive mode, refresh and brightness by configuration.
Which pitch should I use for a monument sign or EMC?
Viewing distance is only one input. Send the display dimensions, content type, closest viewer, road speed and daylight exposure. We will compare the listed P6.67, P10 and P16 configurations without treating a generic distance rule as a final design.
Is front service available?
Service method must be confirmed by exact model and approved drawing. Tell us whether rear access is available; we will only recommend a configuration after checking that requirement.
Does a module certification cover the completed sign?
Not automatically. Certification and inspection requirements can apply to the completed sign, cabinet, power system and installation. Request model-level documentation and confirm the final assembly with the responsible engineer or authority.
What should I send for pricing?
Send cabinet dimensions, display size, pitch preference, quantity, service access, content type, power/controller information and requested delivery date. That produces a more useful quote than quantity alone.
Send the cabinet. Get the module match.
Include the eight project inputs above and attach any cabinet drawing or photo you already have.
