Model-specific evidence, with clear limits
Use these European-standard documents as supporting technical evidence for the identified VMS models. EN 12966 evidence does not by itself establish US DOT acceptance, MUTCD compliance, NTCIP interoperability, UL/ETL listing, or approval for a particular US installation.
The published document is Certificate of Constancy of Performance 2531-CPR-CSC10059, issued by DBI Certification (notified body 2531) on 8 May 2026. It identifies VMS16S-4535RGB and VMS10S-4535RGB and refers to EN 12966-1:2005+A1:2009. Read the complete three-page certificate and its annexes, not a headline alone.

Important distinction: IP56, not IP65
The certificate Annex 1 records P3 (IP56). Report GZES231102107504 Amendment 01 also describes dust and water penetration results as IP56, using IP5X and IPX6 tests. IP56 and IP65 are different designations and must not be reversed in a specification.
What the evidence does not replace
NPD is not a failure result, but it is not a declared performance value either. Project-specific support structures, wind and other loads, installation design and local acceptance need their own review. Temperature-test sequences must not be restated as unconditional continuous operation at every temperature: the report includes different operating and non-operating conditions.
For US procurement, request the agency specification, controller and protocol requirements, electrical and installation requirements, and evidence relevant to the exact product. Do not label this European CPR certificate as US DOT approval or an NTCIP conformance result.

No. Use the full model references in the certificate and check construction, version and any changes against the associated documents.
Can a test report replace the full certificate and annexes?
No. Read the full dossier and the project specification together. A report addresses its stated scope; it does not automatically provide every approval required for an installation.
How is current status checked?
Confirm status and applicable revisions with the issuer or the relevant verification channel before relying on the certificate for a project.
